This verdant park is Max Anderson's source of inspiration for the many and varied unique creatures he creates and catalogues. The sculptures he crafts are both entertaining and educational. Max pays close attention to detail in depicting the true shapes, colors, textures, and personalities of his creatures. Look long enough into the eyes of the "Loon of Paradise" and you will feel him staring back at you. Get close enough and you can smell the vile odor of the "Lilac Buzzard". Max's work has been shown in galleries throughout the Bay Area. His collection of pirate themed sculptures are treasures eagerly sought after by Gasparilla devotees.
